A quick recap of our 2025 return trip

Fun fact: We never captured our return trip on this blog last year. Here’s the short of it:

While Adam and Miriam were doing fun things like going to the cat cafe and feeding elephants, I was in Malaysia for the Asian Lutheran International Conference. It was a transformative experience of learning from other Asian faith leaders from throughout the continent of Asia.

The 3 Cliffords met up again in Bangkok for one last night in Thailand. Adam and Miriam took care of cleaning up the condo in Chiang Mai, and I had 2 days with short flights (one from Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur, then the next day Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok). We treated ourselves to a Marriott stay that had a great pool. The smog in Bangkok was intense, but we did what we could to use soak up our last hours in Thailand.

Flights home were smooth, though the time change is killer every time. We returned home as different people who had just experienced a marvelous, life-changing trip.
